I'll just help myself (Elliot yelling at Ada and stealing his stuff) Vol. 6 99-103

What it is Elliot and Leo are about to bugger off when Leo lets it slip that Oz is one of the break ins at Latowidge. Ada interrupts and Elliot is an ASS at her. So Oz decides to steal his luggage and make off with it as a diversion. He gets a little down on himself for causing trouble for Ada before he realizes that someone's following him.

What he gets This helps to put earlier Latowidge memories into context. Definite tsundere increase toward Elliot and this pushes on his issues of only desiring things for other people and not thinking of himself. Also more awareness of Elliot's hate on for the Vessalius family.

Making entrances and exits (escaping Cheshire's realm) Vol. 5 85-95

What it is Cheshire's realm is starting to collapse around Oz, Alice, and Gil. Gil's freaked out because Equus hasn't just zapped them out of the shadow realm yet when Oz sees an enemy coming at them. Break pops in to the recuse at the nick of time. The beastie in question is the Cheshire Cat, his form twisted at being throw away by Alice and the Will of the Abyss. For a moment Oz sees Cheshire's feelings, his desire to protect Alice and defend her. Break goes on the offensive while Gil is still freaking out about Equus. The unicorn finally makes its appearance but Gil and Break are left behind. Oz is frustrated at being pulled out before he can find the answers he's looking for, but before he has too much time to dwell on it he's shot right into Pandora headquarters with Alice in her true form.

What he gets The final piece in figuring out how the whole Cheshire's realm thing ended. In Aather he's still asking some of the questions that he has in this memory so it only intensifies that frustration. He definitely misses Alice more after this memory and wants to know more about what happened to her.

It's too heavy (lying in bed for a week after the sealing stone breaks) Vol. 11 p165-7

What it is Mostly Oz getting caught up in his own thoughts for a week and being a floppy mess after getting back from Riitasu's mansion. He spends most of his time recounting the events of the mansion, when he tried to kill Marie as well as the slaughter of the Pandora agents and everyone else by the Headhunter.

What he gets There is something that's changed about him. This is solidifying Oz's feelings that he is not quite all right, there's something wrong with him and he can't explain what it is. He now understands the context for what Gil was worried about in the tea party memory, as well as the outcome of what happened with the sealing stone, but basically this raises a lot of fear and doubt in himself, his contract with Alice, and what he's capable of.

Into the woods we go! (Riitasu's mansion, taking Alice's power again and witnessing the sealing stone) Vol. 11 p83-106

What it is Traveling to Riitasu's mansion on Barma's orders to investigate the sealing stone. The party arrives, with Sharon, and immediately they're attacked by Marie wielding a nasty looking saw. No one's able to use their chains to retaliate, and Oz realizes that she's using mirrors to confuse them and conceal her position. She mocks them for their powerlessness, but Oz is distracted by the noise in his head coming from below. When she tries to attack, he destroys her weapon and asks how he can stop the noise. Summoning Alice's scythe, he's about to kill her when Alice grabs him and stops him. Oz returns to himself and apologizes when Riitasu appears.

What he gets Pretty much a confirmation of the last memory and continuation of an earlier one with Barma. Oz has no idea how he summoned Alice's power on his own, or what the sound in his head was. This memory will only increase that fear in himself, that he could lose control and hurt someone without intending it. Basically, he's very very glad that he doesn't have his contract in Aather right now.

Step aside (Jack takes over and saves the day!) Vol. 5 p113-124, 129-151

What it is Oz and Alice have been cornered by Pandora while Alice is still in her Chain form. Jack start to talk to him, reminding him that he can return Alice to her human form. When Oz can't deliver Jack pushes him aside and takes control on his own. He calms the Pandora agents and introduces himself as a witness of the Tragedy of Sablier. He warns them that he's working to prevent a second Tragedy of Sablier, that Glen Baskerville is not yet dead. There's a moment between Jack, Gil, and Alice, before Jack repeats his warning: that the Baskervilles will seek Pandora's 4 doors to the Abyss and their master's body. Jack promises that his soul will lead them through Oz's body. He issues an order that Pandora must protect Oz and the agents gathered there obey. Gil and Alice reach for him as he faints but they call Jack's name instead of Oz's. Oz is overwhelmed but as Jack disappears he tries to urge Jack to stay so that he can ask him more about the Tragedy of Sablier. Jack promises that he'll answer all of Oz's questions in time before he vanishes and Oz wakes up.

What he gets This memory gives Oz a fairly big infodump on what he believes the motivations of the Baskerviles are. It somewhat confirms what Lottie told him before, that they're only seeking him out for his connection to Jack. However it also increases his uncertainty in his sense of self. Being forced to the side, having Gil and Alice call Jack's name instead of his, all pushes his confidence in being 'Oz' down. It also raises questions in terms of just how he relates to Alice's power as well as what really happened in Sablier.

Dad'll love me if I study! Vol. 3 p26-28

What it is Oz is studying hard! Gil comes to bring him tea had suggests that he take a break because he's trying so hard, but Oz brushes him off and remarks that just means he has to try harder so he'll be able to meet his father.

What he gets Although Oz doesn't have the memory of rejection back yet he knows that his relationship with his father isn't the best. So this memory will have something of a bittersweet connotation as well as giving him an impression of just how much and for how long he's focused on gaining some kind of recognition.

Game 104 in the form of a ball of yarn, 5/5 uses | NOT TAKEN

Daddy don't want me Vol. 3 p28-36

What it is Zai is visiting the manor where Oz lives but he refuses to see Oz himself. Frustrated and upset by this, Oz asks Gil why it is that his father hates him. Gil replies that this isn't the case so he runs off with the flowers that Oz has prepared to try and convince Zai to visit him. Oz runs after and arrives just in time for Zai to say that he'd be better off never having been born at all. Gil tries to come to Oz's defense but Zai rebuffs him. Oz interjects to try and save Gil but Zai shuns him as well.

What he gets Plus a million feelings of rejection and confusion/disgust at just what he is. This memory will shake his foundations and confidence in himself a little, since this is the rejection that pushed him to really strongly focus himself on simply accepting whatever comes to him in life instead of thinking on his own wants and needs. It's also going to boost his confidence that Gil is always there for him and will always support him, though in a bittersweet way.

I wanna hold your haaaand (meeting Ada again, then Lottie shows up) Vol. 6 p103-108

What it is Oz is wandering around Latowidge with Elliot's bag, thinking that Elliot will chase after him when Ada shows up instead. She apologizes for Elliot and asks Oz to give his bags back, which Oz readily agrees to and starts off, asking Ada to hold his hand just like old times. He has a momentary freak out when he realizes that he can't treat her the same way he used to ten years ago but she happily goes along. Ada asks him if he asked Elliot about the song, which he didn't, but when he turns to thank her Ada mysteriously passes out and Lottie appears.

What he gets With the surrounding memories already regained, this is mostly just filling in the gaps for Oz. He gets a boost to his sister-dere for Ada as well as a bit more insight into her relationship with Elliot. He already knows the answer to the questions about the song and that he gets out from the encounter with Lottie all right so the tail end of the memory isn't really a cause for any sort of worry or concern.

Sister mine (Meeting Ada again, hearing Elliot's song) Vol. 6 p69-75

What it is Ada finally shows up after Oz has been waiting to meet her. Oz tries to keep cool and play off his worries about the time that's passed since he last saw her but when Ada breaks down crying over how much she wanted to see him he's sort of gut punched with nostalgia. There's almost a touching reunion moment between them but then Alice interrupts and Gil follows after.

What he gets ALL THE SISTERDERE. Seriously so much love for his sisteer. This memory will also give him a nice sort of sense of settling and confidence. Even though it's been 10 years things and things have changed there are still things that haven't changed between himself and Ada. This will probably give Oz in Aather more confidence in terms of not always needing to put up a front when he has issues and faith in people who will be there to support him.

Oz - Battle for Gil's hat!! Vol. 4 p6-24

What it is It starts off with Oz, Alice, and Gil in an alleyway looking for Gil's lost hat. Unfortunately, the hat is nowhere in sight and this is NOT OKAY with Gilbert Nightray so he runs off to try and find it. Alice doesn't get why he's so worked up over a hat so Oz explains. They're interrupted by a commotion! As Gil confronts the hoodlums who TOOK HIS HAT. Seeing things heating up between them Oz does what any reasonable master would do and kicks Gil in the face then baits the hat thief into settling things via arm wrestling. The match commences, Oz wins by being a terrible person, Gil loses to Oscar dere, Alice wins by virtue of Gil being just that desperate and then everyone jumps ship when things start to turn ugly again.

What he gets Gil is seriously crazy about his hat. Seriously crazy about it. Also utterly topped by Oscar but Gil being utterly topped isn't anything new. There isn't much new to this memory other than a nice bit of nostalgia for how easy things were as well as a boost for the enjoyment that Oz gets out of trolling just about everyone.

Down the shadow hole we go! (After Alice and Break) Vol. 4 p58-63

What it is Sitting down to tea with Sharon and finding out that Alice and Break have been taken to Cheshire's realm. Oz figures that Break wouldn't just go off running into enemy territory all willy nilly and asks Sharon if there's a way to follow after. Gil tries to stop him but Oz explains that following along is probably exactly what Break wants and tops Gil into it anyway.

What he gets Confidence boost in his insights about people and their motivations. This memory does have a little bit of underlying lack of regard for his own well being but what the hell it's an adventure. '-' Also a plus to his existing Sharondere.

Pocket watches and choking habits (finding Lacie's headstone and first encounter with the Will of the Abyss) - Vol. 1 p23-41

What it is Oz is sitting out with Gil and Ada after giving Gil his outfit and he hears a strange song. Curious, he decides to follow it and winds up crashing down into a courtyard with Gil where they come upon an unmarked grave with a pocket watch hanging off of it. Oz takes the pocket watch, a strange sensation running through him as he touches it, and then winds it. Suddenly he's transported to a room with walls of dolls and toys, who all cheerfully welcome him back. A mysterious girl in white appears, quieting the dolls, and greets him as well. She tells him that he's always come to visit, that he was always by her side. When Oz tries to question her suddenly the room is engulfed in flame and the girl reappears, dressed in red, and threatens to kill him before Oz snaps out of it.

What he gets A lot of general wtfery. Given his previous memories, Oz recognizes the room and Alice now which adds an additional layer of "why am I being welcomed back??" to the memory. Oz will probably be able to place what he saw as some kind of memory of Sablier now but that will only raise questions as to how Alice recognized him, why she would threaten him, and the like. There's probably also going to be a lingering question of whether or not this has something to do with him turning into a stuffed rabbit...

Game 113 in the form of a golden stick | NOT TAKEN

Buuusted (Worrying about Gil and Echo among other things) Vol. 9 p5-10

What it is Break and Sharon come in on Gil shunning Oz something hardcore. Sharon's maiden heart is overjoyed by this, and she and Break take Oz to breakfast. He explains that he'd been hiding the progression of his seal from Gil and Alice but the previous day after Gil came home he pulled Oz's shirt open to see how it had advanced. Oz recollects how he'd tried to brush it off as something that wasn't any of Gil's concern and immediately realized that doing so was just hurting him more. Oz gets caught up in his own thoughts, worrying about how Gil was acting after visiting the Nightray manor, what happened to Echo after he passed out from his seal moving, and Break decides to be a troll and interrupt, reminding Oz that he needs to think of himself as well as others.

What he gets Confidence boost in dealing with his own issues! This memory shows how Elliot's words really did sink in and how he was trying to make a better effort at being honest about his problems and taking other people's feelings into consideration. He'll probably be more willing to sit Gil down and talk about all the shit that's going down after taking this one.

A very important date (leading up to the coming of age ceremony) Vol. 1 p52-61

What it is The prelude to his coming of age ceremony. Oz meets up with Oscar who introduces him to Sharon and Oz is INSTACHARMED. They have very polite conversation before Sharon warns him to beware of those who would use him to get at the power of the duke households or otherwise. She cautions him to remember that he will always have allies at his side and if he remembers this he won't loose sight of himself. It's creepy and foreboding but Oz doesn't care because HE'S GONNA MARRY SHARON. Plus it's time for the ceremony to get started.

What he gets Sharondere. She was really looking out for him even 10 years ago. '-' He'll definitely take her message to heart in making sure to be mindful of the people at his side who are there to support him no matter what. This memory is a little bittersweet mostly because of how carefree things were before his life was turned upside down by the coming of age ceremony but it's a nice little bit of nostalgia.

Game 119 in the form of a chocolate coin wrapped in ruby foil | TAKEN

Can you keep a secret? (going over the events of Sablier and haha, Break's blind) Vol. 11 p8-11, p21-27

What it is Coming and visiting Break after he regains consciousness following the events of Sablier. Break asks him what happened after he was out, and Oz relates the earthquake they felt when the sealing stone broke and making their exit from the hole. They cover the events of the memories that they saw in Sablier and the like, Break tease Oz about making trouble, and Gil denies seeing anything. Oz knows it's a lie but turns to questioning Break about his motives which he's likewise tight lipped about it. Oz notices that he's gone blind but Break shushes him about it and then quickly shoos everyone else out of the room. Oz tries to confront him about it but Reim assures him that everything's fine.

What he gets A good confirmation on all the events of Sablier, including sorting a lot of info out. He already knows about the sealing stones, so he understand what the earthquake was all about. He also already knows that he confronts Gil about his issues so there's just a little bit of "sigh Gil" added as well.

Game 120 in the form of a ruby spun sugar bird | NOT TAKEN

Three days alone Vol. 3 p37-39, p98-101

What it is Gil's been taken away for confronting Zai about Oz and Oz is confined to his room until Oscar returns. He's probably only about ten or so at the time. Within the first day Oz completely breaks down, doubting whether he even has a place to belong if his father's rejected him like this. However, as time goes on he comes to terms with the idea that if he just accepts what happens to him, no matter what it is, then he can't be hurt by other people's rejection.

What he gets Moreso than the actual memory of his rejection, this memory is what served as the foundation for Oz's old way of thinking and approaching the world. This memory will highlight the complete sense of loneliness and defeat that spurred him to think that way as well as push at his issues with acceptance and belonging. In Aather, he has a much more stable sense of self and belonging with Ruby so while this memory will shake him a little, it will probably also reaffirm his sense of family and team with Ruby as well as give him a bit of a push to confront issues and speak for himself, since he knows now that things aren't the same as they were back home with his family and father.

Kill for you, Alice! Vol. 5 p44-46, 56-64 (triv neg)

What it is In Cheshire's realm, immediately after finding that Alice died in the Tragedy of Sablier, Oz is struck by a sudden pain in his chest as the needle on his seal starts to move. He hears Alice calling him, her voice from her memories reminding him that he is special to her. If she's ever hurt, he'll save her. In a daze, he follows her voice until Gil finds him. Overcome with B Rabbit's power, he tells Gil that he'll destroy everything that Alice wants to forget. He can hear Alice's voice again and promises her that he'll destroy everything that makes her sad. Even if it's Alice herself. Fortunately Gil is there to smack him and snap him out of it, reminding Oz that the reason they came there was to save Alice not to kill her.

What he gets OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK AM I. This is the second memory that Oz has receive where he has just outright snapped and lost control of himself, threatening to kill and destroy and just generally cause mayhem. He is absolutely terrified of that side of himself and this just compounds it. This memory feeds that fear as well as both feeding his apprehension and determination at finding the answers to the questions he has about himself.

One more time, with feeling! Vol. 12 p139-141, 146-152, 164-168

What it is His second coming of age ceremony at Isla Yura's mansion! Gil is stealing the show LIKE A LOSER. Reim and Break come by to formally greet him and recognize his debut which prompts an explanation of the whole ordeal for Alice's edification. She hands over her feather and Oz graciously accepts. Yura starts creeping on him a bit before Oz goes off to hang with other MORE SANE people. Sharon keeps him up to date on how things are going with their real mission in Yura's mansion but Oz gets distracted by Elliotdere!1 Elliot mentions that Leo hasn't been feeling well and there's something up with him lately, but mostly he waves it off. Gil and Alice accost him then and once again enforce the importance of their mission in keeping an eye on Yura. Which is REALLY HARD cuz he is SUCH A CREEP. But Alice makes it easier by dragging him out to dance.

What he gets ISLA YURA IS A HUGE FUCKING CREEPER. There's also lots more Alicedere and Elliotdere in this memory. In general it's just a mild pleasant feeling of finally debuting in society and being of use to Pandora. He'll wonder a little more about Leo in this memory knowing what he does now about his connection to Glen Baskerville and this will definitely make him miss Elliot's stupid face. :(

---

Game 131 in the form of a little bottle | NOT TAKEN (2/2)

This way and that Vol. 9 111-125

What it is Oz, Gil and Alice start wandering down the hole in Sablier to investigate. Gil's worried like always but Oz waves it off saying that they can take care of whatever comes their way with Alice's power. Suddenly they're all overcome by a memory of Sablier which gets Alice excited that the power of the Abyss might hold more of her memories. Oz goes along, even though for him the deeper they go the more he feels a mounting sense of dread. Alice and Gil disappear in quick succession, taken by their own memories, and Oz finds himself living out a memory of the Tragedy of Sablier once again. As he runs from the slaughter, he hears a familiar song and follows it...

What he gets This memory gives Oz the context to his earlier memory of Glen in the Sablier at least a much as he's now aware of how it is he came to encounter Glen. He knows that everyone makes it out of Sablier all right, so he won't be as worried for Gil and Alice and especially given the conversations that he's had with Gil, he has a decent idea of what Gil might have seen. Mostly this memory just positions others and leaves him wanting to find the answers to what happened at the Tragedy of Sablier all the more.
