Man that was a lot of sad. Oz is unsure if he made the right choice in encouraging the changes that he did but he will stick by it cuz Lulu was a literal mess and that isn't right. He feels a bit closer to Lelouch but he won't push it if Lelouch is uncomfortable because of how he got that intimacy. Also maybe felt a little useless at times but what ya gonna do.

I think Aeris is somehow the only person Oz genuinely likes without having weird complicated issues. Now that he′s sorting himself out, she is one of the people he trusts the most and he′s really willing to talk to her at any given time about how he feels. She is a boost of confidence to him and not someone he feels too burdened by in terms of expectations. So basically Aeris is just a super good friend and is very solidly one of Oz′s people.

If you don't elaborate at least reverse.

HE IS DOING A LOT BETTER-ish. Like in general Oz feels a lot less uncomfortable but since Gokudera sort of snapped at him pre-heart games he's a little more aware that even though things seem smoothed over a bit, there's still a long way to go. In general I think he's focusing a lot of his attention on Gokudera at the moment because it's at a point where things are not GODAWFUL HORRIBLE with Mukuro but Oz doesn't want to take any risks? Oz's thoughts on what was going on back home :O/not in aather?

Man he really has no clue. There is a definitely lingering fear that he might actually be dead. Mostly because of the illegal contract thing and also just judging by his personal attitude in some of his memories even post-Elliot jesusing he's not 100% sure that he would not try to get himself killed. I mean logically he knows about the Baskervilles, the Tragedy of Sablier, the sealing stones, Jack's soul chilling out in his body, and his own trip to to he Abyss but not a lot of the connections. So he figures they have to get to the sealing stones FOR SOME REASON and the Baskervilles killed a whole bunch of people 100 years ago but for some reason Alice, Vincent, and MAYBE Gil were there? Oh and also Jack but he's dead now, while the rest of them are inexplicably alive. He knows the Abyss had a hand in this but he's not sure what the Baskervilles are after, other than Jack, and he's not even really sure what he's after outside of these sealing stone things.

I think he has the potential! Like. Idk. It's sort of like Ruby is his ROAD TO JESUS-DOM. I figure if/when the whole Ruby situation gets to a somewhat more stable place he'll be a lot more solid in how to deal with people that he'll probably be able to jesus a lot more effectively. I mean as it stands I feel like he can maybe a little bit with people who are not as messed up as his team but lololo ruby.

Tell me Oz's thoughts on Wraaaath

He thought they were doing better!! Because they had dusk bonding and stuff but then Wrath punched his issues again pre heart games so Oz feels like maybe he misjudged things? But he will not give up! Basically there is just a lot of uncertainty regarding where he stands with Wrath but he is trying to get better at it. He′s still striving to be friends and earn Wrath′s trust so he′ll try whenever he can to at least make an attempt at helping him out and showing that he cares. Also he′s getting a little more used to holding his ground on this when Wrath pushes him on it but he will step down if it's pretty clear that it's going nowhere.

Ssssame better place :|a It's just that that better place did not at all include placing more trust in him re: Acedia. He is ridiculously protective of him. It's like he's taken Tsuna's position except that Wrath knows he is the furthest thing from a great person and is wholly capable of getting angry and frustrated and having real actual fights with Acedia as a result. BUT THAT IS THE LEVEL OF PROTECTIVE FEELINGS. And Oz isn't at a level where he can bypass those, and won't be for a longgg time. Barring heart game intervention, it'll take a good long while before Oz is able to win back any real trust.

OZ AND ALICE NOW

Oz was very dubious of Alice for a bit there because of the whole illegal contractor gonna kill you stuff. But since Alice herself is pretty insistent upon him not dying he′s a bit calmer about it. He′s still not totally sure how to feel about Alice because while she is important he′s sort of holding her at a bit of a distance until he remembers more. He′s sure the memories are there he just wants to see and understand them for himself before he′s willing to fully accept Alice. This is also influenced a bit by how Alice′s morality butts up against his own especially in regards to her recent conflict with Citrine and her opinions on other teams. So basically, he cares about her a lot, but there's things holding it back from being a really dere sort of caring.

Oz doesn't have much of an impression of Ven since they haven't had any threads that have really stuck with him. He thinks Ven is a nice guy and he′s glad that Gil has someone like that on his team! But also he′s a little unsure of talking to Ven too much because it seems like he′d probably upset Ven with how he feels on certain things and Oz doesn't want to cause those problems. So he′ll definitely be nice to Ven when he sees him but he won't try to initiate a deeper relationship until he′s more sure of himself.

Ven is pretty fond of Oz. Like, he hasn't spoken with him in a while, and may go seek him out. (So...much...Peridrama.) Oz just strikes him as a fundamentally nice guy who likes helping out other people, and he likes that. He was a little unsure about the whole 'Gil's my servant' thing, but at this point he's realized that they're each other's people and it's super-cute, so he's down with that now. And happy that Gil has somebody like him.

I thought I heard something about Oz and Gil kissing did that happen is that a thing?

Only forehead kisses and only one! Though they are together now so it is a thing that will happen because Oz will make it so.

I spent a fair chunk of today writing up notes, in fact. Like, it won't happen for a while, because there are memories of his I want him to have first, for full context of the wacky shit going down with his heart in *canon,* that I could then play with in an Aather heartgame. And it would take coordination, because Roxas and I quite literally have the same heart. So, ah, that's a two-for-one deal. But I am so looking forward to it. I like running games in general (run a lot of LARPs IRL) and designing worlds, particularly worlds full of symbolism and crap, is an old hobby of mine. So yeah.

I've given thought to Oz's but not much beyond a general motif. I need to do a big rehaul on canon re-reading and in general just check characterization against some stuff before I'd be comfortable running it but IT IS SO A THING THAT IS HAPPENING. It will probably be very malleable. There will be a lot that people can touch and play with and will effect change but probably not very permanent change unless you're being ~~Mukuro~~ a complete dick.

ALLLL the thoughts to apping moar. My first pick for a second character had playercest issues because I was dumb, so that didn't go through, but I have an app sitting in the queue that...I think is past the point where they would tell me if it was rejected? Cassie: Loves her madly, second favorite person in Aather, next to his twin; nascent repressed crush.
Beato: SOOO COMPLICATED. Interesting, but scary, but good to have around, but fucked with his twin once, alsdkfjsdkfj. Also there's Kanon. ALL THE COMPLICATED FEELINGS.
Dev: Awesome crazy older brother figure who he can ask questions like "what's sadomasochism?"
Gil: Doesn't know him very well yet, but wants to love on and hug and help with stuff if he can.
Lelouch: Not as complicated as Beato: he's wary of his bad moods, does his best to love on him in his good moods. Also doesn't know him very well yet.
Shadowblob: So cuuute. Very fond, especially after heartgame, and it's fun to talk with.

kyaakyaa derecrush!1 Oz really likes Yuri! Yuri is a good guy and he's someone that Oz generally feels comfortable talking with about all the stupid shit that he does. But unlike Aeris for Oz talking with Yuri is also tied up in a lot of expectations. Because of how they met and hit it off, Oz kind of feels the need to still be a capable person and member of Ruby for Yuri. So he's a little bit disappointed in himself when that's not the fact that he can present. He doesn't want to let Yuri down! So he will just keep trying to not cause problems for his team!1 But also YURI IS REALLY HANDS ON WITH HIM. And Oz does like physical affection even if sometimes he's unsure of what to do with it. So he does have this more than tiny bit of a crush on Yuri and really likes the affection and attention even if he's a bit unsure on how to respond and how Yuri means it sometimes.
