Memories #22-29, Skills #5-7
Game 77 in the form of a monocle, 7/8 uses | (OFF-SCREEN) TAKEN
Romantic carriage ride alone~ (confronting Gil about his issues) Vol. 11 p49-63
What it is
Carriage ride ~all alone with Gil~ and the immediate aftermath. Mostly it's Oz being frank with Gil about what went down at Sablier and being upfront about his seal and what's going on with his body. He sees a bit of Gil's 'Master' drive but just laughs it off and then later on offers to listen to what Gil decides.
What he gets
This memory shows a lot of Oz's canon progress in dealing with his own issues, his honesty, his trust, and his willingness to open up to others. It's actually a very positive memory for him because in light of all the memories he's gotten where he's really critiqued how he handles issues, here's a really good example of him taking Elliot's advice to heart and not hiding his issues behind a smile. He is still containing his emotions to a certain extent, and putting on a show of being calm about what's going on with his contract, but he's also willing to admit to it. So overall this memory will give him a really good boost in confronting things head on and not letting his emotions get the better of him while still being open and honest.
He also gets more mistrust of Gil's master complex coupled with a pretty significant dere boost. He does want to bop Gil on the head a bit for keeping his own secrets but he's really respecting Gil's autonomy here and giving him the space to make his own decisions. Just in general he trusts Gil and it will give him warm fuzzies.

Game 78 in the form of a party blower, 4/5 uses | (OFF-SCREEN) TAKEN
Chasing girls~ (Meeting Echo, running around town) Vol. 3 p42-44, 53-61, 64-67
What it is
Oz is talking with Philippe when Echo interrupts him. He remembers Echo from when she delivered flowers to Gil but SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER HIM AT ALL D: (only not really) Then she pulls a knife on them and Philippe freaks and runs away. Oz gives chase and puts on a huge show of being Gil's owner once he catches Echo to try and get her to tell him about why she's chasing Philippe to which she tries brush it off as none of his business. He protests and then finds out she's chasing an illegal contractor to which he FREAKS OUT and gives further chase. They finally find Philippe and Echo reveals that he's not the contractor, just the bait.
What he gets
MISS ECHO +_+ Though more seriously the entire context of this memory is sort of jaded because Oz knows that Philippe's dad is dead. Still, Miss Echo is cute and silly if a little bit weird. Despite the fact that Oz is essentially throwing himself wholeheartedly into the issues of someone he's just met in this memory he doesn't mind it. He is at least grateful that Philippe survives and this memory will probably give him a little more of an urge to help people out and touch base with all of his friends in Aather. And Miss Echo '-'

Game 79 in the form of an ornate red sugar rose | (OFF-SCREEN) TAKEN
Time to wake up now (Saving Alice and coming out of Cheshire's realm) Vol. 5 p65-76
What it is
Snapping out of something, with Gil there and then he finds Alice! Vaguely he recalls snapping and threatening to kill her but he denies it, running out to save her instead. He gets a bit of a recollection to the memories of the tragedy of Sablier here as he reaffirms his bond with Alice, that he's doing this for her, everything that makes Alice who she is.
What he gets
This memory will help Oz understand a lot more about his contract and why he wasn't so worried about it in the past. It gives him a lot more positive feelings for Alice and will make him miss her a lot more. He's a bit worried about the flashes that he gets in this memory to his threats to kill Alice but mostly this memory is just a big Alice dere boost and will calm him a bit about his contract because now he can see a bit more of his reason for sticking with it.

Game 86 in the form of a little ruby bag of black sand, 6/7 uses | (TAKEN)
Unpleasant history (getting separated in the Abyss, meeting Glen and snapping) Vol 9. p126-139, p158-163, 170-173
What it is
Oz stumbles upon a memory of Glen in the Abyss. Jabberwock nearly attacks him before Glen stops the chain because he thinks that Oz is Jack instead. He then goes on to berate Jack about the state of the Abyss and how the Will of the Abyss is tainting it and needs to be something in the power of the Baskervilles. He flips a rage switch at 'Jack' until he realizes that it isn't Jack but Oz he's talking to. At that point he tells Oz that he's an ill-omened child with no place to belong and that he's better of never having been born. Oz freaks out but he's frozen in place from fear. Glen remarks that Oz would be better off returning to the Abyss at which point Oz flips out and summons Alice's scythe to utterly destroy the oncoming zombie hoard.
What he gets
A COMPLETE FREAK OUT. Initially he's scared because he's dealing with Glen, the source of the Tragedy of Sablier, but this memory really strikes at a lot of Oz's more visceral issues. Although he doesn't have the memory of his father back to compound this yet, Oz is still very aware of his desire to fit in and find a place to belong so this memory will probably hit him pretty hard in that regard. It's also his first memory of blacking out in rage and stealing Alice's power to use on his own. So if anything this memory just raises a lot of questions about who he is, what's going on with his power, and the like. Thanks to the previous memory with Gil he'll be able to infer that his seal moved at this time, but that realization will also lend itself to a bit of self-doubt and uncertainty because although he told Gil about the seal, he didn't mention anything about Glen and what he said.

Game 87 in the form of a sea salted butter cracker | (OFF-SCREEN) TAKEN
His hat is a teacup (meeting fake Duke Barma, then real Duke Barma) Vol. 7 p94-114
What it is
Going to the opera house!! To meet with Duke Barma. He's pretty surprised that Barma agreed to meet with them given his reputation. Oz pretty much plans on asking him about all the questions that have come up relating to the Tragedy of Sablier, the Baskervilles, Jack, and the Abyss. (and gets a bit caught up in his thoughts and runs into a wall) He wonders a bit about Alice, who hasn't mentioned much regarding regaining her memories since Cheshire's realm. Then they meet up with Cheryl and exchange pleasantries before "Rufus" shows up and goes off on his tirade about knowledge (taunts Gil for his inability to quit smoking) and asks Oz why he's seeking knowledge and what he'll do with it. Oz replies that he wants to know what he can do for those important to him. Which isn't what Barma was expecting so he flips out and jumps off a balcony.
What he gets
Oz already has a memory of the REAL Duke Barma back so mostly this memory will strike him as a lot of "God wtf was that jerk pulling..." He gets a firmer idea of his own goals back home and a bit more confidence in how he's changed and grown. He can feel a bit prouder of himself with this memory. It also clues him in and confirms his assumptions about the situation back home a lot as well since he's pondering all that stuff.

Game 88 in the form of a chocolate wreath | (OFF-SCREEN) TAKEN
LOUD NOISES (topped by Elliot) Vol. 6 p142-161
What it is
This one starts with running around secret passageways in Latowidge after escaping from the Baskervilles. Oz gets angry at Elliot for getting involved since it really was none of his business and then Elliot flips out and pretty much rages on at Oz about how he's self-sacrificial, forces others to bear the burdens of his pain, and doesn't have the right to protect anyone. Oz tries to refute this because what does Elliot know but in doing so he realizes that for all that he's tried to distance himself from others there are people who care about him and he's made them worry. Elliot realizes that Oz gets it and they move on.
What he gets
This is really interesting timing for this memory because right now Oz is actually pretty upset with Elliot. The memory itself affirms a lot of Oz's reasons for seeing Elliot as a friend and why he really admires him. He's gotten a little bit of that off of Elliot in Aather so he might try to patch things up between them. In terms of just himself, the memory is also a lot of affirmation of problems that Oz has already identified with himself through other memories and the like. He does gain a little more insight into his rejection issues and this really confirms that he's got a bad memory on the way someday between himself and his father. But despite that, this is a reminder that he needs to be more open and trusting of people and that he shouldn't try to sacrifice himself because of how it'll make them worry.

Game 91 in the form of a raver candy necklace, 5/5 uses | (OFF-SCREEN) TAKEN
Everyone's mad here (listening to Break's story and reaffirming their FRIENDSHIP!1 Vol. 8 p51-70
What it is
Switching it up so it starts at the aftermath of the huge exposition drop. Oz is still reeling a little over how Alice and the Will of the Abyss are twins when Barma keeps on going about everything else that was written were just Jack's regrets over having killed his best friend and how he didn't want to be labeled a hero. Barma scoffs at this and then turns his attention on Alice but when Break and Oz try to call him on it he just threatens Break instead. So Oz gets pissed and stands in his way, telling the Duke off and threatening to use Jack's name to counter what he has to say. He openly admits that he'll use any power he's got to protect his friends and Barma's about to fan smack him when Cheryl interrupts. Break makes sure that she's properly peeved and she makes off with Barma. After that everyone's left a little winded by what's happen but Alice is her usual adorable self. Oz thanks Break for telling them his story, because he knows it's something that Break didn't want to share and they've both agreed to use each other in the past. Hearing this, Alice in her infinite wisdom declares them all friends and it is GLOMP ON BREAK time (only Gil sort of fails at it)
What he gets
This is a memory that Oz heard about way way way back when Break was still in Aather. Getting it for himself now will sort of make him miss Break a little bit. I think between the information exchange memory he got earlier and this one he now understands what their relationship was and he probably has a little bit of regret that he couldn't work it out with Break while he was still around. But other than dere for Break he gets more confidence and determination out of this one. It's a good memory for Oz standing up for himself and doing what he can even if it means facing off with one of the four Dukes. He can definitely link this to his earlier memory with Barma so while it is a little upsetting that Barma doesn't give him the information he's asked for, he also knows that this isn't the end of that relationship.

OMG HOLY KNIGHT!1 (Meeting Elliot in the library) Vol. 6 p91-99
What it is
Finding HOLY KNIGHT!1 in the library and then talking to (more like getting yelled at by) Elliot about it. Elliot IS A SPOILER JERK WHO IS ALSO A JERK but Leo makes him apologize (even if he sucks at it) and they argue a bit before starting to leave.
What he gets
Oh so that's what Leo was trying to warn me about. '-' HE IS EXCITE THOUGH. Because OMG HE CAN TALK TO LEO ABOUT HOLY KNIGHT! There's definitely an urge to quest for ALL THE BOOKS and just hole himself up in the library for a week reading all of them. Also a bit of a realization of gosh if that's how he and Elliot first met he really hasn't changed much.
